​​​Jenny is a Bristol-based artist whose practice predominantly involves painting, drawing, and writing.​

 

Jenny's visual art involves semi-abstract and surreal elements; their paintings are ambiguous, personal experiences, evoking half-imagined landscapes and otherworldly vistas. Romanticism and The Sublime heavily inspire Jenny's work, but these old traditions are combined with contemporary techniques, such as dripping paint and creasing the canvas. This playful approach is integral to the work’s finished appearance and creates a relationship between process and representation; they coax images out of the results of exploration.

Jenny graduated with a Fine Art degree from Bath Spa University in 2017 and has had several solo exhibitions since, including Vistas in 2017, Sublime in 2022, and A New Romanticism in 2023, also winning Art Battle Bath in January 2020.

 

From January 2026, Jenny will be studying an MA Creative Practice through The Make Happen Institute and Plymouth Marjon University.
